During the process of teaching our children AWANA memory verses, we have come up with a way for them to do it by themselves.  We have found that even young our children like to do things themselves.  So we thought about using the computer to let them work on the verses whenever they wanted.     Both our 6 year old and 4 year old seem to love doing thier verses by themselves.  These links are MP3 files, click on one of them and your computer should play them.

We record the verses for the next week on the computer just using the sound recorder that comes with Windows.  They have been shown how to double click on the icon and it starts up Windows Media Player and they listen to the verse as many times as they want, whenever they want.

It really seems to be working well.  Just have your child try these 4 verses here and see if they would use the idea.
